Alicia Silverstone comes from San Francisco, California, born on 4.10.1976. She is a TV and a movie actress, graced the covers of the magazines as model (Cosmo, Entertainment Weekly, FHM and Rollingstones), writes and performs on stage. She was raised in a Jewish household and is a vegan.
Her entrance into the world of fame started off in 1992 with a cameo appearance in the TV series The Wonder Years and a year later in The Crush (for which she won an MTV Movie Award). She made some TV movies until another famous movie came out 3 years later, The Clueless. The nineties were productive for her as she also stared in Batman & Robin (for which she won a Golden Raspberry Award) as well as Excess Baggage (produced by her own company) as well as Blast From the Past. The new century saw her get into theatre more, and she starred in 4 out of 5 productions in that period. Movie world and TV series produced some regular but not so memorable work.
In her time so far, she's been nominated one of the sexiest women in the world by FHM (since 1996 to 2009) as well as Fun, Fearless Women by Cosmo (2003 and 2004). She won awards for The Crush & Clueless as well as Golden Raspberry for Batman & Robin. She's also been nominated in 2002 and 2004 for the work in Children's TV Series/Animated Program and TV Series/Musical or Comedy for Braveface and Miss Match. She was also in music videos and released couple of songs herself.
On a personal note, she's been married since 2005 after dating for 8 years, to Christopher Jarecki. Alicia Silverstone supports PETA and is an environmental activist.
