Najwa Nimri was born on February 14, 1972 in Pamplona, Spain. She is a Spanish actress and singer. Her mother is Basque and her father is Jordanian; his name is Karam Nimri. Her name means ecstasy in Arabic.
When Najwa was a child she moved to Bilbao and now lives in Madrid. Her first important film role was in "Salto al vacio", the first movie by Daniel Carparsoro. Her career as a singer started with small groups before Nimri met Carlos Jean to make the group Najwajean. Najwa has also released three solo albums. Nimri was married to Daniel Calparsoro and in 2004, she had a son, Teo.
